Rangers International technical adviser Fidelis Ilechukwu has signed a one-year contract extension that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2025/26 season.
The 46-year-old coach played a pivotal role last season, guiding the Flying Antelopes to their eighth Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title — a triumph that cemented his reputation as one of the league’s top tacticians.
Taking to X, the gaffer penned: “Contract extension till 2026 done and dusted. It can only get better.

Ilechukwu’s men will face Kwara United in the semi-final clash scheduled for next Wednesday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan.
The respected coach has previously managed defunct MFM FC, Heartland FC, and Plateau United, consistently earning praise for his tactical acumen and ability to develop young talent.
As the new contract kicks in, Rangers fans will be hoping Ilechukwu can guide the club to even greater heights in the upcoming season.
