We are taking it one match at a time, we respect them as a champion but you should also understand that we are the champions of the Nigerian National League (NNL). So it’s a match of two champions and we believe when we get to that bridge we will cross it.

The Seasiders have made an impressive start to life in the NPFL, collecting maximum points from their opening two fixtures. They began the season with a hard-fought 1-0 away win against Katsina United, before comfortably dispatching Enugu Rangers 2-0 in their first home game of the campaign.

Warri Wolves will look to continue their fine form when they do battle with Remo Stars in Abeokuta, a game that is expected to test the quality of the Seasiders and their NPFL credentials.
