Head coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Eric Chelle, today released his 23-man list to execute the must-win World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
With a 39-man list earlier released, Eric handed maiden call ups to Kayode Bankole of Remo Stars, Papa Daniel of Niger Tornadoes, Igoh Ogbu of SK Slavia Prague and Tolu Arokodare and extended a return opportunity to Joe Aribo of Southhampton who has been away from the team for a long time.
Second highest scoring Nigerian this season in Europe with 22 goals, Cyril Dessers, led the list of notable absentees from this list, with team main stay, Frank Onyeka and Kelechi Iheanacho also conspicuously absent.
Eric Chelle will hope to start life in the Super Eagles dugout on a positive note as the Super Eagles of Nigeria are condemned to win against table-toppers Rwanda.
