Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi’s Nottingham Forest edged past Brighton Hove Albion on penalties to qualify for the semi-finals of the FA Cup after 120 minutes of football could not separate both sides.
Taiwo Awoniyi, who has struggled for minutes this season, started for Nottingham Forest but could not get on the score sheet as chances were few and far between for both sides in the opening exchanges. Taiwo lasted 61 minutes on the pitch before he made way for Anthony Elanga in a tactical switch by Nuno Espirito Santo.

Ola Aina also started the game and lasted all of 120 minutes as his team was forced to play the lottery of penalties after no side could get the break through in regular time and extra time.
Yates for Nottingham Forests eventually settled the game in Nottingham’s favour, scoring the decisive penalty to add an extra feather to Nottingham’s amazing season so far, with the team poised to take one of the available Champions League places in the English Premier League.

Taiwo and Ola will be hoping to win the FA cup and seal silverware for their side to cap an outstanding season so far.
