The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has finalized the list of participants for the first batch of the CAF B-License Coaching Course, scheduled to run between April and August 2025, Modzero Sports reports.
Selection & Notification Process
NFF Technical Director, Coach Augustine Eguavoen, confirmed the development, urging selected candidates to check their emails for important updates.
“Those who will take part in the first batch have been selected and contacted. All applicants are advised to check their mails, including junk and spam sections, as time-sensitive information is attached,” Eguavoen told thenff.com.
Course Duration & Future Batches
The four-month program, designed to enhance coaching capacity across Nigeria, will be conducted in modules from April 7 to August 25, 2025.
Applicants who were not selected in this phase will have another opportunity, as the second and third batches will be identified and contacted in the coming weeks.
Strong Response & Previous Initiatives
Registration for the CAF B-License program closed on February 25, with Eguavoen noting an overwhelming response from both male and female coaches.
Notably, the NFF previously organized a historic CAF C-License course in 2024—the first-ever exclusively for women—with 30 participants, including several former Super Falcons players.
With Nigeria’s coaching landscape evolving, the CAF B-License initiative is another significant step toward developing top-tier coaching talent across the country.
