Super Eagles winger Moses Simon has completed a €7 million move from FC Nantes to newly promoted Ligue 1 side Paris FC, according to top transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Simon, who turns 30 next month, has reportedly sign a three-year deal that will see him earn double his salary from his time at Nantes.
The Nigerian international spent six fruitful seasons with FC Nantes, becoming a fan favorite for his consistent performances. During his time at the club, he played a crucial role in helping them avoid relegation and reach back-to-back Coupe de France finals in 2022 and 2023. He was instrumental in their 2022 cup triumph, when Nantes defeated OGC Nice to claim their fourth Coupe de France title.

Last season, Simon delivered another stellar campaign with eight goals and 10 assists, helping Nantes finish 13th in Ligue 1 with 36 points—just six points above the relegation zone. In total, he registered 37 goals and 42 assists in 201 appearances for the Canaries.
Despite interest from other Ligue 1 clubs such as Rennes and Marseille, as well as English Premier League side Everton, Paris FC have won the race for his signature.
Paris FC will be playing in Ligue 1 for the first time in 46 years after securing promotion with a 1-1 draw against FC Martigues. Their historic promotion has been backed by new financial muscle, following a midseason takeover by the billionaire Arnault family and Red Bull GmbH.
The club’s ownership structure includes Agache Sport (Arnault family’s holding company) with a 52.4% stake, Red Bull GmbH holding 10.6%, Alter Paris (led by Pierre Ferracci) with 29.8%, and BRI Sports Holdings owning 7.2%.
Simon is expected to play a vital role in helping Paris FC stay competitive in France’s top flight as the club prepares for its most ambitious campaign yet. His experience and attacking prowess make him a key addition to a squad looking to make an impact in Ligue 1.
