NFF Reveals President Federation Cup Last 16 Schedule

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has unveiled the Round of 16 fixtures for the 2024/2025 President Federation Cup, with a headline clash between former champions Bendel Insurance and Enugu Rangers set to take center stage on Wednesday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos.

This showdown rekindles a fierce rivalry dating back over four decades. In 1978, Bendel Insurance stunned the nation by defeating Rangers 3-0 in the final. Rangers responded with a 2-0 victory in the 1981 final, both encounters etched in the rich history of Nigeria’s oldest cup competition.

Now, with a continental ticket on the line, both sides are set to reignite their storied history on Lagos Island, promising fireworks at the Waterfront.

Meanwhile, two-time CAF Champions League winners Enyimba — who eliminated defending champions El-Kanemi Warriors — will battle Abakaliki FC in Asaba.
