Ikorodu City cruised past Niger Tornadoes 3-0 to stay in the hunt for third place at their match day 33 fixture at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos.
The first half of play was a cagey affair, with the away side risking limbs to maintain parity after 45 minutes despite a barrage of attacking sequences from Ikorodu City.
The second half saw the introduction of the electrifying Cole who ultimately ensured the pressure told and had Niger Tornadoes on their knees by the full time whistle.

Cole got on the end of a sizzling move to tap home at the far post and to give Ikorodu a 1-0 lead before star boy Shola Adelani rounded the Tornadoes keeper to double their lead and knock the fight out of the visiting team, scoring the land mark 50th goal for his side this season.

Ikorodu City once again turned defense into attack, with Cole beating the offside trap and running the better part of 40 plus yards with the ball to fire past a defeated goal keeper to double his lead and score the 51st goal of his teams season
