Fulham have reached an agreement with AC Milan to sign Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze on loan, with an option to buy. The agreement includes a non-mandatory buy option valued at over €25 million, giving Fulham flexibility depending on the player’s impact in the Premier League. For Milan, it represents an opportunity to trim their squad while ensuring Chukwueze continues to develop in a competitive league.
The 24 year old winger, who made the switch to AC Milan from Villarreal in 2023, is widely admired for his blistering pace, sharp dribbling, and direct attacking play. Now at Craven Cottage, Chukwueze will be aiming to showcase his qualities and make a strong impact in the Premier League.
Chukwueze’s move also adds to a growing Nigerian presence at Fulham, with fellow Super Eagles players Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi already part of the squad. He will also link up with his Super Eagles teammates soon, as the Nigerian contingent assembles for the upcoming AFCON/World Cup qualifiers, with Chukwueze set to join the national camp fresh off the back of this new move.
For Fulham, the signing represents an ambitious addition to bolster their attacking options. Chukwueze’s ability to operate on either wing will provide versatility to manager Marco Silva’s setup, giving the Cottagers more firepower as they look to climb higher in the Premier League table.
