The Super Eagles’ camp in Kigali is crackling with energy as six fresh reinforcements stormed into camp Monday, turbocharging preparations for Nigeria’s make-or-break World Cup qualifier against Rwanda. Bayer Leverkusen’s red-hot striker Victor Boniface and Chippa United’s glovesman Stanley Nwabali headlined the latest arrivals, injecting star power and depth into Eric Chelle’s squad.

AC Milan’s tricky winger Samuel Chukwueze, KAA Gent’s defensive rock Jordan Torunarigha, Nantes’ livewire Moses Simon, and Club Brugge’s midfield enforcer Raphael Onyedika completed the wave of new faces, swelling the camp’s numbers to 12. The latest arrivals adds firepower to a growing contingent that already includes Galatasaray goal machine Victor Osimhen, Genk red hot striker Tolu Arokodare, Olympiakos, Bruno Onyemaechi, shot-stoppers Amas Obasogie, Kayode Bankole, and Niger Tornadoes midfielder Papa Daniel.

With the Wasps of Rwanda perched ominously atop Group C and Nigeria languishing in fifth, the Eagles face a daunting task to kickstart their faltering qualifying campaign. All eyes will be on debutant coach Chelle, who’s under immediate pressure to steady the ship after Nigeria’s rocky start.

As the African giants fine-tune strategies at their Kigali base, anticipation builds for a high-stakes encounter that could define Nigeria’s World Cup destiny. With Boniface’s lethal form and Osimhen’s predatory instincts, the Eagles will back themselves to sting Rwanda.
