Super Falcons head coach Justin Madugu has earned a prestigious nomination for the 2025 Women’s Team Coach of the Year, following his outstanding leadership during Nigeria’s victorious campaign at the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

Madugu has been shortlisted for the Women’s Johan Cruyff Trophy, awarded annually at the Ballon d’Or ceremony to the best women’s team coach in the world. His nomination is a recognition of his tactical brilliance and the Super Falcons’ commanding performance throughout the tournament.
