A Fedi Tayechi double and an Anisse Saidi strike secured all three points, putting the North Africans atop Group C on goal difference.
Tayechi opened the scoring in the sixth minute, pouncing on a rebound, before turning provider for Saidi’s composed finish just before halftime. The dynamic forward sealed the win in the 58th minute with a precise low drive, confirmed after a brief VAR review.
Despite a late push from Somalia, Tunisia’s defense stood firm, ensuring a perfect start to their U-17 AFCON campaign. With momentum on their side, they now set their sights on extending their lead in Group C.
