Hellas Verona battled to a 1-1 draw against Juventus in Serie A, with Super Eagles forward Gift Orban delivering a standout performance.
Juventus opened the scoring in the 19th minute when Conceição finished calmly after being set up by Marcus Thuram. Verona, however, refused to back down and grew stronger as the first half wore on.
The breakthrough came in the 44th minute when Orban showed composure under pressure, converting a penalty to bring Verona level. His goal shifted the momentum and energized the home crowd.
Beyond finding the net, Orban’s all-round play, pressing high, linking up attacks, and constantly unsettling the Juventus defense earned him the Man of the Match award.
The Super Eagles Player display not only secured Verona a crucial point but also further cemented his reputation as one of the most exciting young talents in Serie A.
