Creative Director and multimedia sports journalist, Dr. Victor Modo (PhD), popularly known as “Modo”, has been named Best Sports Photographer of the Year at the Visual Conference and Photography Awards 2025, held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Dr. Modo, who leads Modzero Media, a fast-growing media and branding agency, has earned widespread recognition over the past decade for his powerful storytelling through sports imagery. His lens has captured defining moments with Nigeria’s national teams, both men and women, as well as top football clubs and major international sporting tournaments.
Through his work, Modo has established himself as one of Nigeria’s leading voices in sports photography, using visuals to bridge the gap between sport, culture, and identity.
