Victor Osimhen was on fire for Galatasaray in the Turkish Super League, bagging a hat trick to take his personal goal tally for the season to 26 goals in all competitions and move Galatasaray 10 points clear at the top of the table.
In. the 30th minute, Osimhen got on the end of an Alvaro Morata square ball to open the scoring grabbing his 24th goal of the season.
Another piece of beautiful play by Galatasaray and some good positioning by Victor Osimhen saw him get on the end of a Yilmaz pass and fire past the hapless Kenan Piric in the Antalyaspor goal.

Osimhen started the second half the way he ended the first, completing his hat trick just seven minutes after the restart to put the game well and truly beyond Antalyaspor.
Osimhen tops the goal scoring chart in Turkey and Nigeria
With the hat trick, Osimhen currently sits pretty at the top of the Turkish league scorers chart with 20 goals despite joining the league four games after the resumption of the league and spending some time on the sidelines due to injury.
Victor Osimhen also solidifies his position as the highest scoring Nigerian player in the world this season with 26 goals, four ahead of second placed Cyril Dessers who plays for Rangers in Scotland.

Super Eagles Head Coach Eric Chelle will hope Osimhen brings his fine scoring form to Kigali for the game against Rwanda and subsequently Uyo for the game against Zimbabwe in the World Cup qualifiers as Nigeria needs to get more points on the board in their quest to avoid missing two back-to-back world cup tournaments.
