Warri Wolves continued their dream start to the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League season with a convincing 2-0 victory over Enugu Rangers in Ozoro on Sunday.
The Wolves, who began their campaign with a 1-0 away win in their opening fixture, faced a tough challenge against Rangers at their adopted home in Ozoro.
After a lengthy delay, the match kicked off with both sides trading attacks. However, it was the hosts who broke the deadlock in the 48th minute as Oham Godwin curled a superb strike from outside the box past the outstretched goalkeeper.
Prince Ebhohan doubled the advantage later in the game, rising highest to head home from a corner and secure all three points for the Seasiders.
With this result, Warri Wolves climb to second on the log, level on points with Bayelsa United. Both teams remain the only sides with a 100% record after two games.
Up next, Wolves will travel to Abeokuta for a showdown against defending champions Remo Stars.
